Dell XPS 410 HDD was accidentally reformatted.

HDD was accidentally reformatted. I am not interested in the stored data, just want to get it back to  factory settings.  OS is Vista.

Thanks for any advice.

You'll need the recovery media you made when you received the system - attach the flash drive or insert the first disc in the media set, power up and press F12.  Boot from that media and follow the prompts to reload the factory software image.

If you did not prepare a media set ahead of time, you will need to contact Dell customer service to purchase a set now -- though they may in fact not be able to supply Windows Vista at this point.
