Dell Backup and Recovery
Today my laptop (W8.1) told me to reinstall this software.
After a successful installation, my hard drive runs since several hours.
The task manager shows, that Softlinks Agent Servcie occupies the HD.
Is that OK?

Hi HenryFl1,
The service is called SoftThinks Agent Service. You can disable it in services.
