add a blu-ray drive to my XPS8910
Hi
I have just purchased an XPS 8910 with a normal optical drive, i now want to add a Blu-Ray writer/reader can you please give info on which one to buy also any new cables i might need, thanks.

You either need a notebook style slimline drive, or an external - this system doesn't have 5.25" drive bays for a standard blue-ray drive.
If you don't care about having the faceplate match the chassis, any slimline drive will work -- you'll need a SATA cable for it.
If you do want the drive to match, you'll need to contact Dell Spare Parts to order the drive for the system. They're 1-800-357-3355
Either way, be sure the drive you buy comes with software - a bare drive won't, and Windows 10 does not have native blue-ray decoding support built in, so you need a software package for the drive.
