SourceOne and EmailXtender coexistence
Hi!
I have a question I'm struggling to find a clear answer on.
When adding an EmailXtender 4.8 SP1 archive to a SourceOne server, can you still do archiving on the EmailXtender server ?
And if so, will the newly archived mail in EmailXtender (after initially adding the EX archive), be resolvable through SourceOne ?
If this is the case, will Offline Access clients be able to resolve shortcuts both through the old User Cache front end server and through new SourceOne frontend (given that you don't start shortcutting new email from SourceOne) ?

Yes, You can still archive in EmailXtender and shortcuts are resolvable via SourceOne.
Once the Offline Access Client is rolled out or existing Client is redirected to SourceOne then you will need to switch all archiving / shortcutting activities to SourceOne and put EmailXtender in "Read Only" Mode.
