Update from 3.02 to 3.06 possible without re-install?
The Problem: Currently, we have installed 3.02.10.00, but I don´t find the Update Tab in the Web UI.
Not sure, if this first released in 3.04, I can not find an older 3.02 Installation and Operations Guide on Support.emc.com.
Is an Update from 3.02 possible, may from the Linux console?
Regards,
Jörg

The ability to update ESRSVE to a later version was first introduced in version 3.04. If you are at 3.02, you will need to apply the patch to take ESRSVE to 3.04. Once you are at 3.04, you can use the Update feature of that version to update to 3.06. EMC has just released an EMC Security Advisory (ESA-2015-097) for all versions earlier than 3.06 so everyone is being encouraged to upgrade to 3.06 at the earliest opportunity.
Browse to:
https://support.emc.com/products/37716_EMC-Secure-Remote-Services-Virtual-Edition/Topics/pg58759/
and locate the patch ESRS_V3_PatchUpdate-3.04.00.08. Instructions for applying the patch are included in the zip file. After upgrading to 3.06, you may find you can no longer log into the ESRSVE GUI with the administrative user (default is admin) password. If that happens, there is a procedure to reset the administrative user password.
