Can we download "ESRS Customer Environment Check Tool" ?
Hi,
We just install ESRS IP Client for VNX and we don't know whether it works properly or not.
In this way, we just wonder whether we can download "ESRS Customer Environment Check Tool" from PowerLink ?
If not, is there any way for us to test the connection / Notification .... etc. ?
Thanks

You can verify connectivity status through the "ESRS IP Config Tool" that is installed through the Start menu. The status tab, deployed devices, and logs tab will provide info. As far as call home tests, you can send test events through Unisphere and verify they are received by EMC support by calling in or contacting your local support team to verify. The CECT is probably not necessary to run now unless you need to diagnose problems with ESRS connectivity. The CECT will also not verify that the device can call home properly. So that needs to be verified with EMC support that a test call home was received.

You can download CECT tool from powerlink by navigating to
Home > Support > Product and Diagnostic Tools > Environment Analysis Tools > Customer Environment Check Tool (CECT)
