Sent email notifications sent from SCG
Hello team, i am asking if SCG sends notifications email of the status of a specific product added in it, so that the user knows of any reported issues in a device (eg. Dell Unity)? if yes, and the user does not get these notifications, what are the steps to configure it in SCG?
Or only a notification with the status of SCG itself is sent like what happens with this user? and the only way to check is by accessing SCG dashboard?

Hi, yes, Dell SCG can send you emails if any error is reported on any of your added devices. Dell's Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) does send you email notifications when an error is reported on any of your devices. For more information you can take a look here Support for Secure Connect Gateway | Overview | Dell US

Hello Ayman_Hassan,
Dell Unity supports only Secure Connect Gateway Virtual Edition. Here is the link to a KB that has some additional information. https://dell.to/3Du3ojc Here is a link to some of the limitations as well. https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000210339/dell-unity-support-assist-limitations-for-unity-oe-5-3?lang=en

@DELL-Sam L Thanks for your reply. My question is if SCG sends emails to customer in case any error reported on any of the added devices, to alert him of the fault and that a case is opened? what I know that SCG sends frequent notifications to customer of the state of SCG itself.
