note SRS and SCG ESOL document?
So I had the link that showed all ESOL components.
hardware, firmware & software.
I believe SRS and SCG would fall into that last category, but they were not listed at all.
Am I missing something?

Joey, you mention that SCG is a relatively new product. SRS is at v3.x and SCG is at v5.x also when I read the docs it said SCG has been used for years. Mainly on Dell Storage. Implementation in Production Enterprise level environment is not done lightly. I just want to see customers who have used SCG with EMC products to respond.
I sign up for product announcements that make sense, so I get one or two a week. Where I ran into trouble is the title literally says "ALL"... but I had to request SRS eosl in a separate email and have yet to see the SCG 5.x documents. My experience (from the EMC side) they have always been forward thinking they do not release software without an EOSL in the docs.
Joey, I apologize, but if you do not know about EOSL with release docs, I wonder how long you have been working with enterprise level Dell/EMC products? If you came over from the Dell side that is fine.

Hi @iNetSpy_WBG,
Are you referring to EoSL? End of Service Life? Do you have the reference link to the mentioned list that you said? As far as I know, SCG is fairly new developed and will not be in any of service life list published. I'm unsure of SRS, you may need to contact EMC support to check on the information.

Yes, I am from Dell representative. For SRS, that would be the support from EMC. Thank you for sharing with me the EOSL document. At the moment I was surprised to see the document till I opened it. Understood where you're coming from on preparations. As far as I know, there is no list for Dell enterprise products.

I have been working international enterprise level infrastructure for quite a while. To my mind "Dell" does not truly look at Enterprise level the way others do... EMC did, Hitachi does, NetApp (whom I loathe)... Cisco... I know Dell has server room stuff for Data Centers... But creating something with no idea when you will stop supporting is just not good business. /shrug
Build a Server/PC tell us as we purchase it when it will be obsolete.. You give the capacity planner something to work with.
