Issue upgrading v5.14.00.16 to 5.16.00.14

Wanted to see if anyone else has had success upgrading from v5.14 to v5.16, via the console Gui?

I've attempted a few times and each time after the upgrade completes to v5.16.00.14, however, I see no connectivity back to the Dell/EMC back end.  While on v5.14 I've got check marks on every connection for both port 443 and port 8443 under Connectivity > Network Connections and services.

Upgrade to v5.16, and I see a message stating that it's "Unable to Connect to Dell EMC Server because a connection could not be established within the predefined time limit."

Revert back to the pre-update snapshot and it's fine and everything shows connected.

I have a case open with Dell support that after 10 days is finally passed on to L2 support.

Up to this point, I haven't had any issues upgrading when prompted via the console and probably have done 6 in-place application updates on this appliance.

L2 was not able to get it resolved, had to engage the developers on the ESRS side. I was told it was technically working despite the error.  The reason I was seeing the error, was because there were duplicate entries for the connection endpoints in the DB tables and as a result, that information was not properly rendering in the GUI.  The fix was that the developer went into the docker apps and ran two SQL queries to remove the duplicate entries, after doing so, just hitting F5 on the page showed the successful connections.  They grabbed some update logs to try and determine why these entries were being duplicated.

Exactly the same issue here. Reverted to snapshot and issue gone. I have not logged a support case yet. If you get a solution from L2, I would be very interested to hear about it.

Hi ChrisGray-CSA,

Thank you for providing this information. Can you please share the SQL queries ran to remove the duplicate entries in the docker?

Cheers!

Unfortunately, I can't, I don't have them.  They were run by Dell support, and when issuing a 'history' command via the cli, they didn't appear there.
