Hi,
Just to confirm, is the SCG a virtual edition? Have you tried rebooting the SCG appliance? What is the SCG version?
What is the device model that you are trying to discover/add? Have you rebooted the device iDRAC?
Can you check the discovery job history, if the device's IP have been discovered before?

Hi,
please take a look at this article Secure Connect Gateway Appliance (Virtual Edition) for VMware and Hyper-V: How to Reboot the Secure Connect Gateway Containers | Dell US
If rebooting doesn't resolve the issue, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies completely, or access the SCG web interface using a different browser or an incognito/private window. Sometimes, the UI may display outdated information due to cached data.
Hope that helps!

Hi,
The cleanup of database cannot be done by user, will need the SCF Dev team to remote in and perform configuration. You will need to contact SCG support to raise a case with your SCG SWID. The support would also need to collect some docket logs.
