SQL replication

Does Replistor replicate SQL databases also on an incremental way?

Also, what benefit does installing SQL executable for replistor give?

Ah, that. It is just a module that makes it possible to do a failover of the MSSQL server, offering basic cluster functionality.

This was answered in your Domino question, Replistor replicates *everything* in incremenntal way if configured so. It doesn't care what is being replicated and it doesn't particulary care if MSSQL is installed or not.

Agreed, but what benefit do we get with that SQL executable then?

EMC has patches as executables for SQL & Exchange. I have just downloaded the pdf for it and seems it is talking about SQL failover I believe.

Let me see.

Thanks, hope it is the same for Exchange module as well.

Correct, although the Exchange module is not really suitable if you have a large number of mailboxes.

Both the Exchange and SQL modules are basically wizards to help create the Alias for the failover for the applications.

The modules do not do any thing other than provide this one-time setup.
