I have tested using RepliStor on a machine running BitLocker. It seems to work fine. However, that does not mean that it has been qualified by the entire team. What it does mean is that EMC Support will support it on a best effort basis. I have spoken to development and they would be willing to evaluate any issues that may come up from this configuration. However it may require a RFE and is subject to current resource availability.
One additional note is that I have only tested this with Windows 7, x64 on a machine with BitLocker enabled. Also I only tested using RS 6.4.1.4. Since BitLocker is built into Windows 2008 Enterprise, Windows 7 and certain Vista OS versions, that is the only platform it was tested on. If you are planning on downloading TPM support for Windows 2003/XP, then you will need to do some testing before assuming that it will work on that platform.

BitLocker Filter Driver might compete with RepliStor Filter Driver.
Confirming the operation anyway might be a shortcut of the solution.

At the moment, you will have to pursue this one via testing to see if it provides the results you require.

I'm afraid that compatibility with BitLocker has not been qualified by the Q/A folks at RepliStor. However, since RS does not open files in R/W mode on the Source and only reads the raw data I suspect it will work. The question is whether RS applies the same locking on the Target node. I would assume that as long as BitLocker is configured on the Target node then the locking would be preserved.
I will do a little testing of this assumption and I would recommend everyone on this forum do the same. We can avoid a customer issue by doing a little hands-on testing. Please advise me via this thread if any issues arise and I will take it up with engineering. I will also update this thread with my testing results.
