WARNING: The system reports mechanism is not functioning RP V4

Has anyone come across this error message?

We just deployed 2 gen5 appliances and am using ESRS HA

The new appliances are showing connected in esrs config tool

I have the same problem but I think where the error is coming, is that you can either do email or ESRS. Since you configured both the error is coming from the unused one.

does this look correct, just point to esrs gateway

That is where I am not sure. I worked with an EMC using the live chat and that where we ended up figuring out. The other option is to make sure that that the SMTP relay on Exchange is allowing Recover Point to email.

I tried live chat they wanted me to contact EMC sales manager for CE. SMTP relay is good

All I needed was a WebEx with support, so I tried to get answer from post.Thanks

Hi there,

do you have a permanent license configured in the system? System reporting will not work if no license are installed.

Additionally, I would recommend registering the system using the Install Base Post Deployment form to ensure you receive support.
