RPA WAN conections
Hello,
I have a question on RPA WAN Connectivity to upstream Nexus switches which are in vPC. Most of the time, some RPAs are connected to vPC primary switch and some are connected to vPC secondary switch. The member ports on these switches to which the RPA WAN ports connected are orphan ports. Here is my question:
In case of a peer-link failure, vPC secondary shuts off all its vPC member ports, and the RPAs connected to vPC secondary are completely isolated. So, in case of isolation, how is the replication on the CGs managed by these RPAs affected? Does the CG failover to one of the RPAs connected to vPC primary switch, or is the replication on the CGs paused until the peer-link is up?
