RP4VMs 4.3 NDU's

Hello,

I was going to uninstall and cleanly install the new 4.3 RP4VM's binaries and noticed after the upgrade process in the Install Guide this blurb about installing new versions within the same family going forward which confused me:

Is this saying that once I deploy 4.3, if a new patch or service pack comes out that I have to uninstall and remove the entire setup in order to upgrade given it is the same major version? I'm just looking for some clarification moving forward after I go through the uninstall/install process as recommended going from 4.2. to 4.3.

Thanks!

Keith,

No starting w/ 4.3 all upgrades to minor and major versions are NDU. That being said, there’s an upgrade procedure from 4.2P1 to 4.3 which is disruptive but does not require a full sweep, only a short init.

Thanks,

Thanks Zahid! That snippet threw me so just wanted to validate. I had the trial version of the 4.2 so I am gutting that as we speak to deploy 4.3 ......you might see some additonal questions from me...haha.

You guys are the best!

Thanks,

-Keith

thank you Keith. I agree the sections are not aligned which can be confusing. You can try the upgrade or a fresh install. Either way, keep the questions coming
