RecoverPoint : Insufficient paths from RPA2 to SP-B on array were detected

Hi,

I'm getting an error in RecoverPoint "Insufficient paths from RPA2 to SP-B on array were detected" because of this I could not upgrade RPAs from 4.0.x to 4.1.

Please help me to solve this issue.

Thanks,

Velan

We found the issue with SPA and SPB paths. SPA's paths were connected to fabric A, the same way SPB's paths were connected to fabric B. It is a wrong configuration. So, we reconfigured SPA and SPB paths as SPA's paths connect fabric A and B the same way SPB after we reconfigured the error have gone.

Hi Rich,

It is RP/SE and is working fine but still I'm getting this error this error. Now I'm unable to upgrade it says I should fix first this error.

Thanks,

Velan

Hi Velan,

An RPA needs to see a minimum of one path per SP on the array. Please check that this is the case.

That said, can you confirm what flavour of RP this is, i.e. is it RP/SE or full RP?

Rich

Are you using vRPA's?

Those are physical RPAs and connected to array through fiber channel. As long as those are working good with this error. But this error pop up when I try to upgrade to 4.1 and not let me to go further.

Good to know Velan as often I answer questions or offer solutions but don't get to hear back if they worked or resolved the issue.
