Recover Point for VM Plugin Issues

Hello

I have installed Recover Point for VM's and am having issues accessing the rpa cluster from within the vsphere  webclient,

All ISCSI networks are not routable they are layer 2 , all other networks are routable.  Configuration is below :

Im seeing these errors in the dashboard

ERROR: In Cluster 0x2a66b6183c48b57a_0.0, ESX Host cannot see RPA2. Verify that ESX Host can see all RPAs at the relevant cluster. ; rpavm-cluster ; UCS_DEV-XXXX-ucs01..XXXXXX.XX.XX

ERROR: In Cluster 0x2a66b6183c48b57a_0.0, ESX Host cannot see RPA2. Verify that ESX Host can see all RPAs at the relevant cluster. ; rpavm-cluster ; XXXXX-ucs02.XXXXXX.XX.XX

Alerts number: 2

I can ping both LAN interfaces on each RPA from each esx host.  My understanding was that the Iscsi interfaces did not need to be routable as per this section in the install guide

"1. Set up two vmkernel ports. Assign IP addresses that are on a routable subnet or on the

same subnet as the vRPA iSCSI interfaces that will be assigned when deploying the

vRPA cluster."

Configuration of the environment :

ESX Management

Esx Host 1: 192168.2.xx

Esx Host 2: 192168.2.xx

ESX Software ISCSI VmKernals

ISCSI 1 - Esx Host 1: 192168.69.2 vlan 500

ISCSI 2 - Esx Host 1: 192168.70.2 vlan 501

ISCSI 1 - Esx Host 2: 192168.69.5 vlan 500

ISCSI 2 - Esx Host 2: 192168.70.5 vlan 501

RPA IP Addressing:

Cluster IP 10.10.118.50

RPA 1-LAN - 10.10.118.10

RPA 1-WAN - 192.168.9.20

RPA 1-ISCSI1 - 192.168.69.3 vlan 500

RPA 1-ISCSI2 - 192.168.70.3 vlan 501

RPA 2-LAN - 10.10.118.10

The dashboard view looks like this and it never loads the vrpa cluster settings

This looks fine, if you go to other tabs, you should be able to see the cluster. The CG status not loading is a known issue, it will load once you have at least one CG configured. The screenshot you attached shows some warnings which indicates that the plugin sees the cluster.

Thx

If you go to the admin tab, do you see the cluster? Are you able to right click on a VM and protect it?

Check also the splitter status from cli using the admin account.

Thanks
