Problem with mounting the datastores on DR ESXi host
Hello I'm facing a problem with mounting the datastore after giving the image access, I cannot mount it without formatting it, I do not find the option of reusing the existing signature. We are running recoverpoint 3.5 SP2 with ESXi 5.1.
Should we see the VMFS label after image access in the add storage dialogue, if so I'm not able to see it. Any idea on this issue.

This might be a VAAI related issue. Can you try disabling VAAI and reattempt.

Hey Balaji,
Check the LVM.EnableResignature setting on each ESX server is set to 1.

Actually, if memory serves me correctly this setting was automatically automatically from ESX 4.1 which means that you can ignore what I said so you do need keep the existing signature.

yes when I disabled the VAAI on the DR ESXi host I'm able to see the datastores automatically even without adding them and it looks good, but I did'nt understand what the problem is there a KB article stating the same that we need to disable the VAAI.
I don't see this problem when I'm failingback to my Source site, I mean I did not disable the VAAI on my source ESXi hosts. We have NS960, NS480 at our source and DR site respectively both of them running on the same FLARE 4.30.000.5.512. Thank you
