New GEN4 RPA WWN

We four new GEN4 RPAs.

All GEN4 RPA not on network and not connected to Fabric.

We are trying to get GEN4 WWNs ahead of time before setup so that we can zone the GEN4 RPA into our existing zone group.

Tried several ways to get the GEN4 WWNs:

1. Using crash cart, powered up GEN4 RPA and logged on as boxmgmt. Was able to view only port 3 WWN for hba. Cannot see port 0-2 WWN (scrolls off screen).

2. Using crash cart, powered up GEN4 RPA and logged on as admin. Message indicated unless GEN4 RPA is part of cluster, we cannot use CLI.

3. Unracked the GEN4 RPA. No WWN documented on top or bottom of GEN4 RPA.

4. Unracked the GEN4 RPA. Pulled the Qlogic adapter. Not WWN documented on Qlogic 4-port adapter.

5. Pulled GBIC. No WWN documented on GBIC.

6. Using crash cart, powered up GEN4 RPA. At post, press CTLR Q, to look at Qlogic through boot up. No WWN documented.

Seems we should be able to get the GEN4 RPA WWN before connected to fabric or the network and prior to setup so that we can zone ahead of time.

Any suggestions.
