Change NTP on RP cluster: "Unable to execute command. RPA is attached"
Hello,
I'm trying to change the NTP clock on a Recoverpoint clusr by logging in with user boxmgmt on the cluster address and then choosing 'Modify cluster'.
However , when applying the settings, I get:
"Unable to execute command. RPA is attached"
Has any of you already changed the NTP settings of a operational RCVP cluster?
Thanks in advance,
Francis

Hi Francis,
You can perform this activity using the RecoverPoint Deployment Manager tool via the System Modifications wizard from version 3.5. If you decide to perform the activity via boxmgmt for all the RPAs a reboot of each RPA is required because this constitutes a settings change and therefore each RPA has to be detached from the cluster and then reattached. The reattachment initiates the reboot process. Deployment Manager manages this whole process for you for all RPAs in the RP cluster.

Richard

Thanks Richard! I was a bit behind on my Recoverpoint knowledge.
