Update R715 server
Hi,
I'm trying to update the firmware of my R715 Dell servers since yesterday.
I have downloaded this ISO: SUU-LIN32_17.12.200.229.ISO
But since it doesn't boot, I can't use it...
I have tried to boot the server using this other ISO as a Virtual CD: sbuu_2.4_1294_A01.iso
But then I can't mount another ISO on the Virtual Console.
Then, I tried to create a USB boot of that ISO, and I wasn't able to do it.
Tried with Rufus (FAT32) and the utility won't boot up.
I also tried to copy the repository folder from the first ISO to a FAT32 pendrive, but the utility doesn't recognize it...
I tried using the Lifecycle controller too, using a CD, but it asks for a Catalog or Package Path and it doesn't accept /repository or anything else that I typed in it.
I mean, how hard can Dell make our lives just to update one single server??

Nevermind... I have downloaded this ISO: SUU-WIN32_17.12.200.229.ISO
The Lifecycle controller was able to recognize it.
I had to download the new BIOS update to install it using a Linux live image...
But anyway, thanks.
