PERC H710 Mini Firmware Update
I have a PowerEdge R520 being used as a VMware ESXi host that needs to have the firmware upgraded on the PERC H710 Mini controller. I created a Windows Server 2021R2 boot USB drive and add the ZIP package with the latest firmware on it. I can boot fine to the USB drive but when I run the update batch file it tells me the xgrep.com and Megafl.exe are not compatible with the version of Windows running. What version of Windows should I be using for the USB boot drive?

You need to upload file format "Update Package for MS Windows 64-Bit.". You can upload EXE file as it is no need to extract. Please ensure you are uploading correct firmware based on controller you have. H710 Mini or H710P Mini.

Hello,
As you may have discovered it is not published on the web anymore.
You may find the firmware by mounting the SUU iso and run the suulauncher.exe and use the wizard to find your firmware.

You can use iDRAC to update H710 Mini Firmware which does not need any operating system. You can refer below link for details
https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-in/000134013/dell-poweredge-update-the-firmware-of-single-system-components-remotely-using-the-idrac
You can also try Platform Specific Bootable ISO option also. You can refer below link for details on this.

I just connected via IDRAC7 and was able to login to the server. I went to the Update/RollBack section and it is asking me to upload the firmware. I want to make sure I will be uploading the correct file type so can you assist me in determining which firmware I should download from Dell? It says it will take a Windows Update Package (.exe) but would that just be the compressed file located here:[broken link, removed]? Do I need to extract the files first or would the IDRAC interface handle that for me?

The Dell OpenManage Server Administrator software lists the controller as a PERC H710 Mini so I guess I need the firmware in the first link you sent.

@DELL-Shine K Can you help with a link to the PERC H710P mini v21.3.2-0005 driver?
Openmanage complaining that version 21.3.2-0005 is needed but the link does not work.
<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>
Can't seem to find this driver version anywhere. Thanks.

@showersd Did you find this firmware update? Called Dell Tech Support and all they will do is sell you a service contract. Dell has gone down the tube!

@DELL-Young E Are there updated links? Both of those seem to be broken now.

@DELL-Erman O That one seems to be pretty dated. OMSA shows i've got 21.3.1-0004, but the minimum required version is 21.3.2-0005. Another thread said that there may be a vulnerability and that it might have been pulled but i'm not sure.
