preparation for Exam E20-390
Hi all,
I would like to know that if i want to take Exam E20-390, should i need to pass any exam or training course first? eg E20-001. Thanks.

Hi VictorMark,
Although you could take the E20-390 VNX Solutions Specilalist Exam for Implementation Engineers, it wouldn't count until you have successfully passed the Assocate level exam first:
E10-001 Information Storage and Management Exam Version 2
or
E20-001 Information Storage and Management Exam (soon to be retired 31Dec2012).
Training Course wise, I would reccomend:
For the E10-001 or E20-001 exam then "Information Storage and Management Exam Version 2" course (either vILT or ILT), espically if you are new to Storage.
For the E20-390 exam then the "VNX Unified Storage Implementation" course (either vILT or ILT).

Suggest to go for EMC ISM certification before go for E20-390.

This really depends on which BR products you have exposure to. If you have Avamar and DD experience and just need to catch up on Networker then simply review the white papers and take the practice exams and move forward. If you have less experience or BR experience with other products then think about some training or at least purchase the VILT.

Hi Team,
I'm taking my exam for E20-390 for the 3rd time. is there any advise or pointers to review which can really help to pass may exam.

If you haven't done so already, you can try taking the Practice Test here: EMC Proven Professional: Certification Exams and Practice Tests. If you run into a question that you're having trouble with, you can copy and paste it here for a discussion with an SME.

Hi Kate,
sadly i failed again for the 4th time. I've done everything to reviewed my student modules but i'm not lucky. as i discovered, every questionnaire is changed when taking the actual test. means,question is different from my previous actual exam. my biggest problem now is i'm not really expose to this kind of field. i need your advise before i decided to get this exam again.

Hi al200277AFB , I'm sorry to hear this. Have you reviewed your training materials? Did you take an ILT version of the course or a VILT? If you took a VILT version, you should be able to go back and rewatch the course. It sounds like you might need to spend more time with the materials.
