Dell Backup and Recovery

i have several Dell latitude E6420's running windows 7 pro with 4 GB RAM and a 250 GB hard drive. upon boot a small white box appears in the upper left hand corner of the monitor. it can't be moved and you can't see under it or around it. in other words it becomes really annoying. if i launch task manager and kill the DBRM process the box goes away. if i go to msconfig and disable it at startup it just recreates itself and the box reappears. several of my users have gone as far as to uninstall Dell Backup Manager but that also has not eliminated the white box. i'm looking for a solution to this little  white box.

thanks for your reply, Dell Back Up and Recovery Manager has been uninstalled. in msconfig there is only 'DBRM toaster' no DBRM. I have unchecked this box, restarted the computer, backedup, and checked 'do not show me this again', pressed alt+tab  and the 'white box' shows up again. restarted again and the 'white box' is still there. return to msconfig and a new 'DBRM toaster' is there

The dbrm_toaster is a software that belongs to Dell Computer. As per your situation I think that there might be a dead link remaining in one of your startup folders. Go to both these locations: %systemdrive%\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

%systemdrive%\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and make sure that there is no DBRM-related shortcut in these folders. If its there then delete it and restart your PC, hopefully the problem will be solved.
