DDPM 2.0.1.16 Install Error (1603)
I'm having some issues installing DDPM 2.0.1.16. 'Installation operation failed - (1603)'.
'Run As Admin' produces the same error. All Dell Command Updates and Windows Updates are 'up-to-date'. I have full administrator access / Global Admin etc.
Dell support's suggestion is to perform a system wipe and clean OS re-install. As this is a business system used heavily, that' isn't a realistic option.
I have tried previous versions of DPM, and whilst they install, they produce a general error 256, advising to reset the system to no avail.
System: Win 11 Pro 24H2 Build 66100.3775
Does anyone have any advise as to how this could be resolved?

@GraemeB2812 I was running into the same issue. Event Viewer > Application logs showed an MsiInstaller error because a newer version of Dell Core Services, a component of DDPM, was already installed. Uninstalling the Dell Core Services from the system, then attempting the DDPM install was successful.

Can you provide your system model so that we can investigate?
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

My apologies, the post had asked me to confirm my system, so I thought it had displayed this.
System / Peripherals;
OptiPlex XE4 Series (Tower)
Dell U2520D Monitor
Dell U2723QE Monitor
Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (KM7321W - UK)
Dell Webcam (WB7022)
Dell Wireless Headset (WL5022)
Dell Speakerphone (SP3022)
I have already gone through the Dell Support process as my system holds ProSupport Plus.
I have come over to this community as Support was unable to resolve.

Hello,
Unistall Dell Peripheral Manager then uninstall the Dell Core Services from the system (control panel), then attempting the Dell Peripheral Manager install should successful with last version (DDPM 2.0.1.16)

Thank you so much for this suggestion; it worked.
I decided to uninstall all Dell software, leaving Dell Core Services to last. I then re-installed DDPM, DCU, Dell Optimizer, then SupportAssist last.
Dell Core Services appeared to re-install the same version;1.10.33.0.

Hi,
Same issue here, DDPM-Setup_2.0.3.9.exe, "Installation Operation Failed - DCS(1603)".

Getting the same error for DDPM-Setup_2.1.0.24. Didn't see a Dell Core Services installed in Control Panel but removed all other Dell software. Still cannot install DDPM.
