H625cdw - Added Multiple Printers - Can I Remove Some?

I just installed a Dell H625cdw printer, and although only that one printer shows up under Windows 10 Settings-Devices and Printers, when I try to print from any application, I have TWELVE different items related to the printer. They are:

  1. Dell Color MFP H625cdw
  2. Dell Color MFP H625cdw (1)
  3. Dell Color MFP H625cdw (Copy 1)
  4. Dell Color MFP H625cdw (Copy 1)-FAX
  5. Dell Color MFP H625cdw (Copy 1)-FAX (1)
  6. Dell Color MFP H625cdw (Copy 1)-FAX-PS
  7. Dell Color MFP H625cdw (Copy 1)-PS
  8. Dell Color MFP H625cdw (Copy 1)-PS (1)
  9. Dell Color MFP H625cdw (Copy 2)
  10. Dell Color MFP H625cdw (Copy 2)-FAX
  11. Dell Color MFP H625cdw (Copy 2)-PS
  12. Dell Color MFP H625cdw-PS

Surely some of these are redundant and/or duplicates. How do I know which ones, and how do I delete them? Thanks for your help.

JohnS43,

Please try these steps to remove the duplicates:

1. Open ‘Devices and Printers’

2. Right-click on the printer icon and select ‘Delete print queue’

3. Delete the duplicates

JOHNS43,

You can delete the ones that have "Copy" next to them.

OK, thank you, but HOW do I delete them (in Windows 10)? As i mentioned, they don't show up in "Devices and Printers" -- there's only one Dell printer there. The only place they show up is in drop-down menus within a program when I have to select a device to print to. And I don't know of any way to delete printers from a drop-down menu.

Thank you -- that seems to have worked. I hope I didn't delete anything I shouldn't have. Now all I have left are:

1: Dell Color MFP H625cdw

2: Dell Color MFP H625cdw-PS

Does it matter which one I use? Am I missing one for FAX?
