El Capitan and Dell C1765NFW MFP Laser Printer
Okay does anyone know when Dell will release drivers for El Capitan and Dell C1765NFW MFP Laser Printer? Ever since I installed the OS, I can't print anything. I get an error message: Stopped - ntdcmsmac open fail.dlopen .....
Any ideas?

Hey guys...
@hasso26 found a solution for that problem: Dell Forum Germany
However, it is in german so I translate it for you:
SOLUTION:
Shutdown Mac
Reboot and hold CMD+R to enter the Recovery Terminal (you'll find the button in the top menu)
execute > csrutil disable
reboot
Download driver *.dmg from http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER01023194M/1/dl1765nf_nfw0040m104ml.zip
install it
reboot
At this point it worked for me.
If you want you can reactivate the security check with "csrutil enable" in Recovery Mode Terminal
Kind Regards and thanks @hasso26

Seriously? So the printer I have is now completely useless and not even a year old.

Hi - can anyone from Dell provide an answer to this? Very frustrating, and can't seem to find any answers on the support forum

Hello Jdgealta,
Following up on the post by Jesse. We can't provide a current time line as Mac 10.11 was just released or wither we will be able to support your specific model. This is because unlike Windows OS we do not receive a developer copy of MAC OS to test and validate new drivers on. We have to wait for the street release date just like anyone else and the process takes time to make sure we release a good update.
We recommend as a best practice to check on the compatibility of your equipment prior to performing any major upgrades such as the one you have completed. Some equipment may not in fact get updates based on the age of the product or the limits of existing technology.
Please continue to check the support site, any releases will be published there.

Dear Joseph E,
sorry, but this answer is not correct. This time Apple released a public beta to everyone.
So Dell had enough time to test their drivers for the hardware. In times, that you are told to fix every security holes immediately and do updates etc., this is a weak answer. It's always the others, that do a wrong job. It's nothing new, that a lot of people do the updates on their release. I never had any issues with other printer manufcatorers except Dell. I have to install the drivers 6-10 times each year to get the Dell n1765c to work on Mac. Everytime it's working I cross fingers how long it will. You better start doing something. So do a good update this time! Thanks in advance.

Yes, thanks from me too Dustin. It works, although the Mac tells me the software isn't correct and asks to repair it. I naturally said no!
Still, Dell need to update the driver for us owners; it'd be ridiculous if they don't!

This says that it isn't compatible with my operating system and could damage my computer. Did you get the same message?
