Precision M4500, Debian 12, USB driver bug
I'm having the same issues with a Dell Precision M4500, programming Arduinos doesn't work, I get time out messages. also other devices will not work, I can use USB "thumb drives", most USB hard drives, but things like my Wacom graphics tablet, game pads, joysticks won't show up, my Sony DVD/CD burner doesn't show up, my USB to SATA/IDE dongle also doesn't work. I'm running Debian 12, I'd expect an "lsusb" to at least show devices on the bus
all of my Arduinos, ESP32 boards, graphics tablet, game pads etc all work with other machines. at first I thought it was a driver issue, I've compiled a custom Debian 12 kernal with all the appropriate drivers, added my user account to the "modem" group, the "HID" group. this is crazy stuff, I hope someone has some idea of <Profanity is never allowed. DELL-Admin> is going on?
