Precision 5750 WD19TBS incorrect resolution on boot with Samsung Odyssey G9

I am using a Precision 5750 and the WD19TBS dock with the Samsung Odyssey G9.

I am having the weirdest issue with the resolution of my Samsung Odyssey G9, where on boot up the max resolution of the monitor it set to 2560x1440, instead of 5120x1440. I can however fix this by turning my monitor on and off again (resetting the connection to the monitor).

This did not happen when connected the G9 directly to the laptop with the Dell USB-C Mobile Adapter.

I've literally updated every driver I can find from the dock to the graphic cards and tried fiddling with the graphic and performance settings to no luck

Any advice or ideas would be appreciated.

Updating everything to the latest version via the SupportAssist app on Windows 11 resolved the issue.

I'm having the same issue, but with a Precision 5530 and the dock.  Did you ever figure this out?

I have the same issue with m Dell XPS 15 9520 and Samsung Odyssey G9.

I tried 3 docks WD19S, WD19TBS, WD22TB4 and they all have the same issue. All drivers are up to date on the laptop and the docks. I am also on Windows 11. I did not try it on Windows 10.

Anyone has any idea what to do?

The Samsung Odyssey G9 has one HDMI 2.0 port and two DP 1.4 ports. Our teams need to know your full connection chain from laptop to dock to Samsung Odyssey G9. Using every port and cable.
