M6600 - device manager issues with PCI Express Controller, and related devices

Wife's laptop:

Precision M6600 (i7-2720QM @ 2.2GHz)

32 GB RAM

500 GB SSD and 1 TB spindle drive

O/S Windows 10 (64 bit)

Problem: computer stopped recognizing the external monitor (directly or through dock).

Device manager shows:

- problem with 2nd gen core procesor family PCI Express Controllerr (0101)

- problem with Other Devices:

  - Broadcom USH

   - Centrino advanced WiMAX 6250

   - Mass Storage Controller

   - PCI Serial Port

   - Unknown Device

With Dell not supporting Win 10 drivers for this laptop, I am having trouble finding which ones will hopefully address thi sissue (windows thinks it has the latest versions).

@rgvodden , you can download this drivers package and unzip it to your machine.  For every device with issue, run driver update and point it to the unzipped folder.

You might consider to replace the CMOS battery as well.

Run Windows update and check under optional updates for drivers or try these:

Broadcom USH driver

Intel 6250 wifi driver

Mass storage controller driver

Thanks!

The driver pack resolved the issue with the 2nd gen core procesor family PCI Express Controller (0101), and the second monitor is functioning once again.

The other devices are still showing issues though, but that is not critical right now..
