Dell Precision 7550 BIOS 1.9.1 update keeps failing
Hi All clever people out there
As per subject - I unsuccessfully kept trying to install BIOS update recommended by Dell Command Update and by Support Assist. After some minutes of waiting the message pops up "... update failed". The file which the system is trying to install: "Precision_7x50_1.9.1.exe".
Anyone had encountered such problem? Any solutions?

Hi,
What is you current BIOS version, like 1.8.1? What if you try 1.8.1 before the latest one?
Or maybe this may help. Download yourself the Precision_7x50_1.9.1.exe to C:\Temp and remember to right click the file and choose "Run as administrator" =

Thank you so much, "Run as administrator" option worked for me.
