Dell G15 5520 - Device Crashes After Loading DOOM Eternal Campaign. Help!
Hey everyone, I decided to make a post on the forums since I couldn't reach Dell's support. I'm experiencing an issue with Doom Eternal where my device abruptly crashes when I load up the campaign and I have to boot my device back up. I know this is a problem with my device because my specs are well within the game's recommended requirements, it works with devices with lower specs than mine, and the problem occasionally happens with other apps. So, I'm both confused and frustrated on what could be the problem. I even tried optimizing the game's settings with GeForce Experience and manually lowering it to no avail. Can you guys please help me?
Here are my specs:
OS: Win 11
RAM: 16 GB DDR5
Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H 2.30 GHz
Graphics Card: RTX 3050 4GB
Storage: NVMe Samsung SSD 512GB (12GB available on C:, 148GB available on D: which is the directory)
Let me know if you need to know anything else.

Since no one was willing to help me, here is a fix that I think works. The issue turned out to be overheating. Get a good fan control app, change the thermal paste if it's old or make sure the cooling is on probably, or manually reduce the maximum processor state in the power options which is found at:
Control Panel/Hardware & Sound/Power Options/Edit Plan Settings/Change advanced power settings
That should fix it!

Unless other games or applications are doing the same, this would be a question for the game publisher's technical support.

@ejn63 It does happen form time to time in other games and software especially some of Adobe's, but not as frequently as DOOM.
