Why Customized Workstation takes 12 weeks for delivery?
Hi
Can anyone tell me that Why the Customized Workstation takes 12 weeks for delivery?. Because i want to know that will it take 12 weeks or more?

I would say thats going to happen because of Supply Chain problems caused by COVID as well as parts shortages at TSMC and overall increased costs.
Its not just computers that have problems, auto makers, appliance makers, etc are all dealing with extreme demand and short supply. This won't be cleared up for at least 2 years and I think its more like 3 years of more. Covid doesnt just stop and go away it mutates and spreads like wild fire.

Customizations take much longer and that delay is worse now because of supply shortages, shipping delays, pandemic problems....etc. If you are in a hurry chose a ready to ship model if possible. Add your own customizations.

I would say, 12 weeks is a very short delay these days. I've been waiting for almost half a year. With HP (private customized laptop) I waited the same 3 months and got a badly assembled crab from refurbished parts. 10 years ago I was ordering custom SONY laptop, and it took only 1 month... but during 3 years of service, manual assembly quality declined so much that in 2014 after cleaning they returned me a damaged laptop with plastic separators not removed from thermal pads and screws not tightened... Now such low quality is everywhere, multiplied by delays. So if possible, try not ordering custom assemblies.
