What is the purpose of the Precision 3650 system board connector?

Reference to service manual as following, anyone know the purpose of connector on system board?

Hard drive fan connectors (24) why one of two no socket and there are not PWN 4 pin socket?

The purpose of these connections are for additional feature options that can be added at time of ordering.

extra NIC ports, Thunderbolt, graphics cards, extra hard disks etc

 Q  "Anyone use those connector with hardware? For example how to use Thunderbolt 4 AIC connector?" unlikely.  Dell makes it difficult to impossible to order such things.

None of it like the tiny fan connectors are documented.

Thunderbolt requires controller on the motherboard which is an option not standard on all boards.

Thank you for your suggestion. I just wonder if I need to buy some non-dell hardware in the future (such as an adapter card), can it be used on the motherboard?

Obviously yes, pci-e slots are not vendor locked
