Precision 5820 - Won't boot, no white lights, just amber

Question

I have a Dell Precision 5820 that won't boot.  It will turn on the Power Light will be solid white, the keyboard and mouse will light up.  After a while, the power light will turn amber, it will make a 3 note sound, then the amber light will flash 1 time then 4 times then 1 time.   (No white light flashes, just amber).  I looked at the user manual, but all the troubleshooting codes include the white light.  Any idea what it could be?

The 3 beeps, I assume you are hearing beeps, indicate a chipset error. It could be a CMOS battery problem. On a system that is almost new it may be hard to believe but possible. If possible run diagnostics, though it sounds unlikely from your symptoms. Otherwise if under warranty call Dell tech support. Try replacing the battery with a newly purchased one just to eliminate that as a possible cause.

Thanks for your help.  I took out the CMOS battery for 20 minutes and put it back in.  It seems to work now. I've been able to install Windows 11 successfully.
