Precision 3930 Rack, mixing memory modules with different capacities
My Precision 3930 was deliverd with 2x16GB memory. Now I want to add 2x32GB and I would like to keep the 2x16GB. Is it possile to mix 2x32GB and 2x16GB on this workstation?

Brief follow up. Yes it is possible. My workstation now runs with 96GB.

Possibly but it is not one of the compatible memory specs listed here. If not compatible you will probably see anything from no POST to errors.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I don't think the documentation list all possible RAM configurations, e.g. 2x16GB is not listed in Table 7. Mixing memory modules with different capacities are often possible as long as you follow the rules, e.g. Precision Workstation R7910
Maybe I just have to try.
