Precision 3630 lock up when google chrome visits google pixal webpage
Hello,
We have had an issue with our Dell Precisions for the past 2 years. All our software works fine but if you open Google Chrome and go to the google store and then select the Pixel page, chrome will slowly and surely lock up and freeze the whole machine. There are no errors, nothing in the windows logs that show what is going on.
We have tried BIOS updates, Graphics card updates (nvidia quadro p2000 cards) removing software, resetting the hardware, updating the Windows image and all to no avail. This only happens on Dell Precision 3630s with nvidia quadro p2000 cards.
Any help or thoughts on the issue would be great.
Thanks,

I ran into the same problem. Precision 3630 with Nvidia Quadro P2000 cards.
Turns out the issue for me was I needed to Disable "ASPM" (Active State Power Management) in the BIOS/Firmware. I would guess that Dell was setting ASPM to "Auto" which is good for mobile devices, but which is mismanaging power to the Quadro P2000, causing video output lockup/fault when it tried to ramp power usage for graphics-heavy apps.

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

Thank you. I had no idea that Dell added this feature to the 3630s. We have turned off ASPM and are no longer experiencing crashes using software with hardware acceleration turned on.
I really appreciate your help. Have a great weekend!!!
