Connecting a 1.4 A fan on Dell Precision T3500
Good day,
I have an old T3500 that has a non functioning fan, the one next to the CPU. I obviously noticed and changed the one in the RAM to the CPU, but my RAM has no ventilation. I have an old Optiplex GX520 laying around, and i took out the fan. Reading the label on the T3500's fans, they pull 0.9 A, but the GX520's pull 1.4 A. Is there any danger connecting the GX520's fan to the T3500 motherboard?
Thanks in advance.

Update,
I decided to risk it and connect the fan, and it worked no problem! Investigating a bit more, I found out most workstation and server boards have headers for 2 A max, I wasn't sure, but i decided to take a go at it.
From this I suppose I cannot connect any splitter to this header, since this would overload it and cause damage to the motherboard.
In case the board fails through time, I'll come back to this thread and update it.
Good day!
