upgrade path dell data domain from 7.1.0.5 to 8.3

Hello,All. how can i do that ,is it possiple to upgrade directly or there are hops? Please do not refer to article ,i need only the path ,(data domain 3300)

For versions 7.2 and below, the service maintenance have been terminated and might not be available for download. I would suggest you will need to raise a case with the support and contact engineering to release the files for updates.

If you're running Data Domain DD3300 on DD OS 7.1.x (e.g., 7.1.0.5) and want to upgrade to 8.3 (or even 8.4), here’s the supported upgrade route—no extra hops necessary, but you must hit a minimum intermediate release: Upgrade to DD OS 7.1.0.20. This is the minimum base version required. Upgrade directly to DD OS 8.3 (or 8.4).

Since you're on 7.1.0.5, the path is: 7.1.0.5 → 7.1.0.20 → 8.3 (or 8.4)
