ME4024 Unable to expand ADAPT disk group with multiple drives at once
Hi, I was under the impression that we can add multiple new drives to a disk pool/disk group protected by ADAPT data protection?
If I select Expand Disk Group, I am able to click 'Select All' and have my 4 new drives selected. When I click modify, it says "Expanding Disk Group" for a few seconds and then fails with this error:
“Failed to expand disk group. A duplicate name was specified. - Parameter value '00.14,00.15,00.16,00...'. Problem at this character: '00.14,00.15,00.16,<<==' (2019-09-09 10:45:58)"
Of course it's the same disk group name, I'm expanding it, not creating a new one. Firmware on ME4024: GT275R005-004 Is this a bug?
Update: It seems to work if I use the 'Enter Range of Disks' and input for instance 0.15-17 (to add 3 disk at once).

Hello Olainen,
What you can do is to use CTRL + Select the Drives manually and it will allow to expand. This issue is resolved in firmware G280. If you are not able to select them manually and add them to the disk group, then we will need to look at the logs from your ME4024 to see what is going on.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
