Max disk capacity on PowerVault Dell MD1200 12x3,5'

Hello, I have a question because I can't find the answer anywhere. What is the maximum disk capacity it will support? For example with the H810 controller?

The H810 isn't the only factor. If you want to try unsupported drives, you are certainly welcome to do so. No matter what the H810 supports, the MD does not show support for anything greater. As for an upper bound on what the H810 can address, I haven't seen an officially published figure.

That being said, I found this document on the support page for the MD1200 and the highest capacity drive I'm seeing listed is a 10TB drive. It's a Seagate, model ST10000NM0256 with Dell part number YF87J.

EDIT: Correct, when I say tested, I mean by our internal teams.

Hello,

The highest capacity drives I see as having been validated for use with the MD1200 are 4TB drives. You may well be able to use higher capacity drives, but these are the largest capacity ones that show as having been tested. Let me know if this helps.
