IOM
Greetings,
I have a problem with one of the IOM of the EMC Powervault ME412 expansion.
The module fault led starts to blink (2-3s interval) once the powervault is on.
Can I do something to solve this problem ?

You may have already discovered that it needs to be replaced since a known good works.
We can get a look at the logs and see what that shows.

Hello,
From looking at the log
So this:
A769 2024-11-25 11:25:31 171 INFORMATIONAL The last rescan detected a removed enclosure. (enclosure: 1, WWN: 500C0FF06885193C)

Will cause this:

I would recommend taking down the ME5012 rbod before disconnecting the jbod in the future to prevent this.
Since no hosts or volumes are configured it appears this is an initial setup. Once all the IO modules get sorted and you power cycle in the correct order I expect the disk group may come back online. If it doesn't then worst case scenario since there is no data we could easily delete and recreate them if needed once the other problems are fixed up.
I'd recommend contacting Support to get the IOM replaced under the warranty.

Hello,
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for your response.
I will replace the IOM for another one.
The problem is that I am not able to dequarantine the disks (by cli) and erase the disks but it says that it can not be done because the disks are an internal component.
It is show in the following image (it is in spanish)
