Deleted host mappings not returning to Free Capacity on MD3220
I'm having a problem with deleted virtual disks showing as "Free Capacity" in Storage & Copy Services tab instead of returning to overall free capacity. Any ideas why/how these deleted virtual drives are not returning to overall Free Capacity but showing up individually?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello there @StlCardsFan04,
This is normal behaviour on a MD3220. If you need to defragment this disk group you can use a CLI command:
start diskGroup [diskGroupNumber] defragment
where, diskGroupNumber is the identifier for the disk group
You can check this in the CLI guide:

(Page 118)
Regards.

Thank you very much for the reply. I had no idea this was the way to reallocate space occupied by deleted virtual disks. Is there a way for me to check the progress or status of the defragment job? I can open another thread, but I have another question to ask re: virtual disk best practices, i.e. is it better to have multiple virtual disks or one large virtual disk? I currently have multiple virtual disks, and I'm not sure that's the best thing to do.
