Default IP address for Dell PowerVault 114x
Hello,
I want to know the default ip address for Dell PowerVault 114x.
I search in the internet and in the web site Dell, i dont find any thing.

Hello AYoub,
Yes by your tag it is a PV114x. But on a PV 114X I just check in our lab & there is not an ethernet port on the chassis. Now you may be thinking of our PV124T that does have an ethernet port on it but the PV114T doesn’t.

The PV114x doesn’t have an ethernet port on it so that is why it doesn’t have a default IP address.

But i'm sure, the PV114x have an ethernet port + SAS port.

Hi,
I had the same question and I had a PowerVault 144x
What is the defailt IP-Adress for the management interface?
Or who it can reset the management interfance to DHCP?

We also have the 114x and there is a ethernet port on the back with a wrench on it. If it's not mamagement interface, what is?

Hello dewald.smit,
The network port on the back of your tape drive for transferring firmware and dumps only. It is not for Ethernet, or iSCSI.
