Connect a t320 running truenas and a powervault md6610?

Question

I currently have a dell poweredge t320 running truenas for my at home business and file sharing storage server. I dont have anymore free ports available to add more hard drives. The t320 has a perc h710 sas controller connected to the front 3.5' drive bays and I replaced the 5.25' drive bays with 3.5' drive adapters. Is it even possible to connect the powervault md6610 to it? How would I connect it and wire it up? Thanks in advance!

With budget in mind I would look at something like the MD1200 or MD1220, you can glance at the features and tech specs here.

They are also compatible with the controller we discussed previously, and both are supported with the T320 as well.

As far as the drives, I am not seeing them listed.

Would you clarify something for me?
There isn't a Powervault MD6610 model, there is an Equallogic PS6610 or Connectrix DS6610, could you confirm if it is in fact one of those models, and if so which one?

Normally the server would have an external controller installed for external storage, like the H810 ( part # KKFKC or NDD93 ).

PS6610 are SAN (Storage Attached Network) product which needs high performance switch and devices to make storage work. You might want to check out the MD series which some of them are DAS (Direct Attached Storage). You only need external controller to connect to the storage.

What is a good MD seriesthat has alot of bays and wont break the bank? Any reccomendations? Will normal NAS drives (seagate constellation, wd red, etc) work in the md series? How does the MD connect to a T320?
