How to activate USERS CAL on windows server 2019 STD
Hi everyone .
We (The company which I work for ) purchased Windows server 2019 license along with 5 users CAL .
After activating the OS successfully I activated also the server license . It went well . However when I want to activate the users CAL I asked to enter some numbers/Latters which I don't have anywhere . With the server we purchased we got the following :
- Win server 2019 STD installation DVD
- Product key for windows server 2019 STD
- Something called "ADDITINAL LICENSE" X 2 (I'm not sure even what it is ... explanation would be nice)
- Client Access License
I read online DELL/Microsoft had to email us the key to activate the CAL but we didn't get anything else other than the above . Should I contact DELL reseller which we got the server and CAL from and ask them to send it to me ?

Good to see you back in the Dell Community.
To choose properly who to request support for your OS license will likely depend on who you bought this license for. For example, if the OS license was installed by default from factory, then we can say it is a OEM license and therefore, Dell can provide support to you (if that the case, you normally will have a sticker on the server with the license number).
However, if the license was bought to the partner in the same order than the server but a separate item, it is the partner who can provide support of the license, as it is a ROK or retail license.
