R760 with PERC H965i Front. How to switch controller to HBA mode?
Hello,
I've got a Dell PE R760 with H965i Front with NVME drives. Is it possible to switch the controller to the 'HBA' mode? I couldn't find the option change 'Controller Personality' from 'RAID' mode. Am I missing something?

Hello,
The H965i does not have a HBA mode. You may try Non-RAID disk setting that you found:

Convert to Non–RAID disk
To convert a physical disk to non–RAID disk using the HII Configuration Utility, do the following:
Steps
1. Start the Dell PERC 12 Configuration Utility. See Navigating to the Dell PERC 12 configuration utility.
2. Click Main Menu > Configuration Management > Convert to Non–RAID Disk.
A list of available PDs is displayed.
3. Select the physical disk to convert to Non-RAID disk.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Confirm.
6. Click Yes.
The non-RAID disk is successfully created.

So HBA was supported in the earlier 700 series Controllers but not in the new 965 ?
