Hello,
Storage recent logs do not come from SEL, but from LCC. LCC logs are by design meant to be persistent. If you need to clear them you have to use system retire/repurpose process

But do note that it will wipe all your historical data.

Hello, thanks for choosing Dell and welcome to our community.
Is it that you have 4 physical disks, but only two are recognized? Have you removed them or are they not properly plugged into the slots?

@DELL-Young E

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

I only have 2 physical disks installed, not 4.

Previously, there was an error on one of the virtual disks, so I deleted the virtual disk configuration. After that, the PERC controller automatically recreated the VD.

Since then, the error log has remained in the Storage Summary and doesn’t go away, even though the system is now running normally.

Best regards,

Hello,

I think you can try clearing SEL.

The video has sections for different iDRAC versions.

@DELL-Young E

Thanks for the suggestion.

I’ve already tried clearing the System Event Log (SEL) via iDRAC and RACADM, but the storage-related logs in the “Storage Summary” view are still present.

Do you have any recommendations for clearing those persistent logs from the PERC H710 controller?
