T430 with E5-2699 V3 not working

Question

Hi all,

I am trying to setup a Dell T430 with this CPU. It starts but video otuput isn't working, also iDRAC isn't showing CPU info, only appearing ??.

I have tested this server with E5-2690 V4 and works fine.

Tested with aonther T430 CTO and another E5-2699 V3 CPU but always same behavior.

What could be the problem?. I see lot of setups with that server and CPU online so I think it should work fine.

Hello,

I don't see the E5-2699 V3 validated for the T430, or the T330.

I do see it validated for R630 and R730.

Maybe someone in the community has made it work on the T430 and can share their experience.
