Question

Hi all, I need help to add 2 GPU NVIDIA H100 PCIe in server DELL PE R760xa, can somenone share all components that I need to use to make this happend ?  Thansk a lot .

What are you current riser configuration? https://dell.to/40K80L3. With this reference guide, you will need to install H100 into slot 31, 33, 36, 38.

You can refer to this cabling guide for power cables: https://dell.to/40W2WUh

You can look for this cable part number 470-BCTG for both left and right power cable.

If you need more information and guidance, I would recommend contacting the server support after getting the components ready.

You may consider contacting Sales for R760XA build out.

In the forum we do break/fix and don't have the build tools that Sales has.

I did not find it explicitly documented that you cannot order the R760XS without GPU.

We do have CPU 8458P validated for the R760XA.

@DELL-Joey C​  Thanks for your reply,According to the information, i can use GPU H100 in 2 risers RF1A and RF2A.Can you give me the part number of 2 risers?Because I'm not sure my server already has these 2 risers

@DELL-Joey C​ Thanks for your information!I asked some suppliers about the cable with the part number 470-BCTG, but they couldn't provide. They suggested me cable with part 470-BCSR and confirmed it could be used. Can you help me check  about cable 470-BCSR? Is it same 470-BCTG?

@Drgcfg-1​ I used Dell partner tool to build the configuration you can't  buy R760xa without GPU, at least 2 NVIDIA A2 GPUs with Riser Config 1
